thinking that likely wouldn’t have dared I.

With great regret and even greater sorrow,
I apologize for not thinking of tomorrow.
I found my days busy to such a degree,
that giving enough time to, well even thee,
seems to be beyond my will and ability,
likely close to an impossible possibility.

If a relationship is what you rightfully seek,

I am afraid our future is strikingly bleak.
That said if having a friendly coffee or a chat,
does sound like an idea only half as bad,
I would be very honored if we one day met.
